Two brands occupy the meal × condition quadrant. Homey Food is the only direct adjacent, and its consult-gate is its blessing AND curse — it commands trust but suffocates conversion. Rasaya's edge is shipping the same nutritional integrity without making the caretaker fill in a clinic form first.
Same channel (Klang Valley meal subscription), different ICP — these brands serve weight-loss / fitness / lifestyle, NOT metabolic-condition. Their copy gives the game away.

*Pinxin and Mirra are GAIA sister-brands, not market competitors. Yolo is the closest functional-meal contender, but its 4-plan menu has zero positioning for diabetes / cholesterol / heart / stroke recovery. The condition lane is literally unoccupied by anyone selling food daily.

Why it's not a meal competitor: caretakers layer Glucerna ON TOP of regular meals. It's a supplement, not a substitute. Compliance fatigue is real — the powder + water ritual gets skipped after 2 weeks.
Implication for Rasaya: pharmacy aisle endorsement is an open route. Glucerna has the trust signal Rasaya needs (Abbott, low-GI, 28 vitamins). Position Rasaya as the actual meal alongside the powder.
Ensure = post-surgery / elder protein nutrition. Anlene = bone + heart plus. Both occupy "powder/drink" shelf, not "food" shelf.
Caretaker behaviour: 73% buy at least one functional-nutrition powder for the diabetic parent (Unverified — directional XHS / FB community signal). None of them are eating it AS a meal.
Untapped: Caring Pharmacy is the highest-trust pharmacy chain for Chinese-Malaysian audience. No meal brand has ever cross-promoted in the diabetic-nutrition aisle.
